Photo Cards
Submitting Photos
If you are using a scanner to submit your photos, please make sure the top of your scanner is dust free. Dust particles will show on your photo. Also, scan the photos at 600dpi for the best resoulution quality.
You can submit your photos in one of two ways. To submit a digital image, you will be prompted after check out with the email address to sumbit your photo(s) to. You can email your image(s) to the provided email address with your order # in the subject line. Make sure your file size of the pictures is large enough. Also, send 1-3 photos per e-mail to avoid shrinking of the pictures. If you do not have the capability to submit a high-resolution digital image, you can mail or submit your photo on a cd to: Couture Invito, 14 Public Square, Medina, Ohio 44256. *All photographs will be returned to you with your completed order.
Photo requirements
If you are electronically submitting a digital photo we accept JPEG and TIFF with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi. Please do not size the image before sending it to us, our designers will make any necessary changes in order for your photo to fit properly.
With all of our photo announcements you have the choice to have your photos printed in color or in black & white. All color photos will be converted to black and white at no additional charge.
Please note that the quality of the final product depends on the quality of the original photo that is supplied to us.
Proof Process
Two complimentary proofs are provided with your order. An additional proof is avaliable for an additional fee of $15.00. Please see our FAQ's page.

Copyright & Professional Photography
Couture Invito respects and upholds the legal rights of photographers and image authors. It is UNLAWFUL to reproduce images that are copyrighted without the express written permission of the person or entity that created the original work. If you have a copyrighted image, contact the photographer to request a signed copyright release; once provided, we will keep this for our files. If you choose to scan your professionally taken images on your own, for the sole purpose of making copies, you are assuming the legal risk for violating any copyright.
If you have been provided printable resolution images on CD from your photographer, we do not need a copyright release. It is not always the intent of the photographer to provide a "blanket release." By submitting these images, you agree to assume full responsibility if any conflicts arise with the photographer.
Please DO NOT send copyrighted, professional prints to use for your order, without including a written and signed release from your photographer. If your order must be cancelled due to the lack of a copyright release, we will withhold $10 from any refund as a cancellation fee and return the photograph to you.
(Copyright Indemnification) The purchaser whose name appears on the order form warrants that the subject matter to be printed by Couture Invito is not copyrighted by a third party. The client also recognizes that because subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. The purchaser further warrants that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing the subject matter for reproduction. To support these warranties, the purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Couture Invito for all liability, damages and attorney fees that may be incurred in any legal action connected with copyright infringement involving the work produced or provided.
Baby Invitations, Announcements and Stationery
When to Order Baby Shower Invitations
You should order the birth announcments as soon after the birth as you can. The photocard announcements usually ship within 5-7 business days.
When to Send Out Baby Announcements
You should send out birth announcements as close to the birth as possible. By picking out the design and verse, and buying stamps prior to the arrival to your new baby, you will be able to send your announcements soon after the birth. Once the baby is born you can finalize your decision with one of Couture Invito's birth announcements, inlcuding unique designs and photocards. Six months is the longest you should wait before sending out birth announcements.
Couture Invitations
When to Order Invitations
When ordering please keep in mind that invitations should be mailed 8-10 weeks prior to your event. Keep in mind the delays at the post office, especially around the holiday season. You will want to give yourself enough time to assemble and address them as well. We suggest that you order 3 – 5 months prior to your event date, however not all orders need that amount of time... please contact us to check our production schedule. Please give yourself enough time to have the proper consultation (in person, over the phone or through email), designing & proofing of your invitations and to address the invitations.
How to order Custom Invitations by Couture Invito
If you choose any of the designs featured on our site, simply fill out the questions on the product page, enter the quantity during check out, complete the check out process and we will contact you via email and/or phone to complete the design using your colors, verse and all of the elements you desire.
You will be able to proof your Custom Invitations by viewing a PDF file in your e-mails. You will then be able to make any corrections and have final approval before your invitations go to print.
If you would like a new custom design, please contact us to discuss your wedding or event. With a deposit we will begin working with you to design the invitation you want. All deposits are non-refundable and go towards the final balance of your order.
